KinRig is compatible with all common PCs and can be set-up on all conventional software environments. The modular structure and the ability to operate without any special programming knowledge are the keys to the quick utilisation in your company. In addition to standard functions, KinRig offers intelligent solutions with which you can make your daily processes more efficient. For instance, it is possible to perform a partial commissioning via simple comments as well as to carry out simulations without a target system.
KinRig is an open and expandable piece of software with numerous interfaces to programs such as Microsoft Excel and DIAdem. Your programming environment is a standard PC with a Windows operating system. For instance, you can expand standard function libraries into external systems with Microsoft Visual Studio for Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.1 using your own scripts or functions.

- KinRig runs on a standard PC equipped with at least 2 cores. 1 core is reserved for KinRig RT.
The KinRig real-time core (KinRig RT) runs in the real-time environment of Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.1. The KinRig user interface (HMI) runs on Windows 10. Automated update mechanisms are available for Windows 11 and future versions of Windows.
